At Calshot Sailing Club, we are proud of our many young sailors who have learned to sail or race trained at our junior training events. We are determined to continue this tradition and the Friday Club proves to be a great success each year. It is available not only for juniors but also adults who are new to racing or inexperienced.
Friday Club will run both junior sailing instruction and race coaching at the same time as required. It is aimed primarily at juniors but is also open to adults who are new to, or inexperienced at racing. Priority for club boats will be given to juniors and race coaching will be in Toppers.
Those who took part last year will know that Friday Club is more than just training and included some fun things as well. It is also planned to organise an RNLI visit on the last date.
The Friday club will start in May and run through until September. It will cost £30 per person but there will be a £5 discount for everybody who has registered before the 1st of May. Registration will take place at the beginning of the season and there are approx 12 Friday Club evenings planned throughout the season. Click here to download the form if you wish to register. They take place every other Friday between May & September. Dates are published in the Programme of Events. Members should aim to get to the club for 18:00.
