Directions from M3, travelling Southbound. Click here for a Map
Leave the M3 at Junction 13, following the signs for M27 West (Bournemouth/Poole), join the M27, Westbound.
Leave the M27 at Junction 2, signposted A326 (Fawley).
Turn left at the roundabout on to the A326 (Fawley/Totton), heading South towards Hythe.
Stay on this road, crossing over a series of roundabouts until you get to 'Hardley roundabout'. Go straight across this roundabout towards Holbury village (signposted Hardley, Holbury / Refinery gates 2 & 3).
Continue through Holbury village. You should pass Fawley Oil Refinery on your left behind a screen of trees and a parade of shops on your right.
You will come to a mini roundabout.Take the left hand turn (B3053) signposted Fawley and follow the brown tourist signs for Calshot Activities Centre and Castle.
Continue along the B3053, keeping Fawley village and the Oil Refinery on your left.
After about 4 miles, you will arrive at Calshot village and the road bears around to the left, before coming to a 'Give Way' with beach huts directly in front of you.
Turn left, keeping the Beach huts on your Right hand side. At the end of the beach huts, you will pass through an open gate marking the entrance into Calshot Activities Centre.
Calshot Sailing Club is located on the right hand side, just inside the opened gate.
Car parking is plentiful. You may park on the grass in front of the club compound, purchasing a ticket from the parking attendant at the pay booth. Alternatively, you may park on the beach hut side of the gate, purchasing a ticket from a 'pay and display' ticket machine.
Note that the car park tickets are not interchangeable as they are issued by 2 separate authorities.
Car parking is charged per hour or an annual season ticket is available for unlimited use if required.
The nearest mainline railway stations are either Southampton Central or Brockenhurst, both approx 16 miles away.
